Once inside there is a warm and comfortable atmosphere with friendly, personal service to match. Several large booths are magnets for legal beagles by day and the literati by night who blow rings of smoke into the air from cigarettes that technically, shouldn't be lit. Vancouver bylaws are sticky about smoking in public areas. But it adds to the restaurant's sophisticated atmosphere. Besides, the food is exceptional with unbelievable soups, pastas and pan-seared halibut. They usually feature a number of specials that are unique and flavorful. |
