| 7 days a weekRoll the credits with names like Gillian Anderson, Jason Priestly, Jim Byrnes and others who pop up on the list of investors. Not surprising since the Alibi Room (same name as a 1920s LA speakeasy) is meant to be a clubby kind of place for filmbos from the local industry. The surrounding landscape is pretty gritty, at Alexander and Main, but this is one of the up and coming, edgy areas of the city that's making "on the wrong side of the tracks" a hip place to be. There's a trend setting vodka bar downstairs while upstairs emits hot vibes with its 20 ft ceiling and stretch windows, a swell bar, film script library, and heavy metal sounds from the train tracks outside. The food is casual. |
