| Downtown Miami's Metromover monorail is a fun, fast, and free way to get a self-guided tour around town. This air-conditioned Disney-like transport is a real bargain. The individualized motor cars run on top of the 4.4-mile elevated track that loops around downtown Miami and to the city's two major business districts - Brickell and Omni. Offering a bird's eye view of the city below, Metromover makes stops at Bayside Marketplace, Miami Arena, the Miami-Dade Cultural Center, the Miami Convention Center, and many hotels. From this perch you can see beautiful Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Service runs daily 6:00 a.m. to midnight, every 90 seconds during peak hours and every 3 minutes off-peak. |
