| One of South Jersey's best-kept secrets is the Cape May County Zoo. Located right off the Garden State Parkway in Cape May Court House, it offers a large selection of animals in settings that range from a petting zoo all the way to a recreation of the wild Serengeti.One of the best parts about the zoo is that it's free for all visitors (donations are accepted at the front gate.) There are also facilities for picnics, a pond for fishing, paths for hiking, and fields for ball playing, kite flying, or just running around. You can even schedule special events at the park.
